Ingredients
1 brown onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 bottle of passata
2 cans tinned tomato
1tbsp olive oil
1 cup water
Small handful of basil
Method
Finely chop the onion and garlic
Put the saucepan on stove on medium to high heat and add the oil.
Saute onions and garlic until gragrant.
Add the tinned tomatoes, passata and water and bring to the boil.
Add basil and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes partially covered.
